The 2012 NQ Corporate Carnival is the ultimate team building event. You, your workmates, managers, directors, colleagues, friends, clients and family can have a ripper of a day representing your organisation in one of the ten sports. Enter a number of teams to have a crack at being named the Carnival Champion Business and take home the coveted, silver, perpetual cup. In 2011, there were 400 participants in 66 teams from 36 different North Queensland businesses playing for over $6,000 in prizes. In 2012, anything is probable and everything is possible!

What Sports can we Play?
There is a sport that will take everyone’s fancy, with lawn bowls, 3-on-3 basketball, athletics and poker possibly all making their NQ Corporate Carnival debut. All sports are played for 25 minutes, creating a fun and fast, but not too exhausting competition. Choose from:

2012 NQ Corporate Carnival Charity
For 60 years, Cootharinga has been helping to build a better world with people of all abilities through providing services and accommodation throughout North Queensland. The NQ Corporate Carnival will be helping to fundraise for this vital charity in a variety of ways.
Cootharinga’s enthusiastic involvement with the 2011 event raised $1,800 and included:
- ‘Chip in for Cootharinga’ golf chipping challenge for all participants and spectators
- Sale of icy cold water, sports drinks and soft drinks all day
- A demonstration game of ‘sitting volleyball’ against NQ Corporate Carnival participants
- A raffle for an impressive wheelbarrow load of goodies
- Participating in the volleyball 6’s, tennis and table tennis competitions
